Yuba city is a bit too far outside our way I'm afraid. Any suggestions to vista points on 80 close to the state border we can be on the lookout for ? We're off to a late start and we're probably not making it all the way to Reno in time for the total annular eclipse.

I came to this site to see if any of you have any plans for eclipse watching today. Glad to see that it's still so active ! Have you decided on what to do ? Sally and I will be enroute to Reno but if there are great viewing opportunities in a place where there will also be friends we'd much rather take a break half way and see someone fun. Happy belated birthday to Kat, Trey, Ginger and anyone else who's had their birthdays in the awesomest month of the year !!
