| | | 13:54 - 2/8/2012 | I love my chiropractor!!!! Not only did he fix my back, he also relieved the tension in my jaw so I don't clench as much at night, AND he took my cramps away, AND he showed me how to do it myself in the future. He says his job is to make sure his patients don't have to come back. :)
Ladies- if you want a cramp relief demo, just ask. (Simultaneous massage of a spot on your abdomen and a spot under your arm.) Seriously, they went away and haven't come back. Now I'm going to have to come up with another reason to stay home one day a month.

Sounds like your boss is slowly working his way through the various parts of an e-mail. Godspeed to him!
On this note, my mom for some reason thinks that TV remotes are Fabe'rge eggs.* She treats all other technology (smartphones, computers, appliances, etc.) like a normal person would, but TV remotes are sacred, precision instruments that only she knows how to use, and NO ONE ELSE. I think this is because TV remotes were the first examples of "high-tech" she ever used regularly (we got our first remote control TV in 1989), and it was a big deal for her to own such a thing. Everything that came afterward is whatever, but remotes are precious.
*I had to put the apostrophe because all instances of "B E R G" are changed to bergensteingoldfarb, even if mid-word.

My boss is baffled by technology. There are lot of things that he just doesn't know how to do and isn't willing to learn - like finding the off/on button on a printer, or refilling said printer with paper.
But when he does learn something, he obsesses over it. Last year, he learned the difference between the "To" line and the "cc" line in an e-mail, and now he cannot stop talking about who he is going to send the e-mail to and who he is going to cc. It's very important to him that the right people be put into the right lines. He asks for my opinion and I always tell him it doesn't matter. I think it's hilarious.
edit: I just remembered that my first year or two here, he obsessed over subject lines. I guess that means he had just learned about subject lines in 2004.
