| | | 11:58 - 3/15/2010 | We were gonna call it The Western, since we had the most westerly place of all of us, and in a sort of homage to The Wire, but The Best Western was funnier. Of course, now George and Cathy just beat me out for westerliness, but what are you gonna do?

When did your house get named The Best Western? That's hilarious.

| | | 10:35 - 3/13/2010 | Omsoft seems like a nice bunch of guys, and I might go through them for DSL, but honestly their prices are not that great, especially for web hosting. -AT- 12.95/month is a bit much on its own, and as shateau stands, I would need to pay extra for more storage, more email, and to include a MySQL database. Also, they don't seem to support ASP (why would they?), so shateau wouldn't work there anyway.
I like the idea of supporting a local ISP, though, since there are so few left.
Whitney: I'm glad this is whole thing is nearing an end. For everyone, really.

Kat: WOOT!
Jamie: Good thinking!
Happy Hour: Sigh. I miss you.
Thank you everyone for all the Shateau help! Today I will be packing, and I am caving in and taking Mark up on his offer to hire movers to get the last of my stuff in a storage unit. I am sick (literally) and tired of dealing with this. If anyone wants to keep me company while I pack the last of #5, give me a call. I only ask that you be silly. I need a little levity. I will also accept bitching about your own problems, as it will help distract me from my own. :)
It was weird. When I called Mark around 7 last night to let him know of yet another new leak, he seemed different. I think he has accepted the fate of that apartment. He talked open and honestly about how fucked he is. I don't have sympathy for him, but I don't wish him ill either. I just want out with my deposit, and now I'm sure that won't be a problem.

Whitney is having a slight meltdown. New leaks all up & down #5 forcing her to move out today - like right now. She has asked me to solicit for volunteers here. I'll be heading over there myself in Trucksie like real soon.

Am I to assume, then, that we should convene at said preflight lounge?
At what time?
...
I have lost interest in Lost Boys. Moving on.

You know that escalator down to L Street that leads up to that offshoot of the mall where Electronics Boutique is located? Well there's a door beneath that escalator that leads to this strange room and the Pre-Flite Lounge is off to the left.
I guess people used to check in for their flights right there on L Street and take a shuttle to the airport and they would hang out at this bar while they waited for their shuttle.
